The Fractured Archive drop rates and calculator
The fourth raid, out 20 October 2026. Five bosses a run out of eight, a megarare that hits up to four times and keeps the best, and no published drop rates. The calculator — odds per raid, how dry you are, a loot simulator — goes up here when the rates do.
Coming soon!
No drop rates yet. Every rarity on the wiki’s chest page is blank, and Jagex’s own word on it is “drop rates will be coming week 2”. When they’re out, this page becomes the calculator: your chance of a purple per raid, how dry you are on the Obligator, and a loot pile to roll. The chest on the OSRS Wiki.
Fractured Archive uniques
- Obligator (megarare) — A two-handed crush weapon, 85 Attack. Rolls its damage up to four times, keeps the best, and hits harder still against anything 2x2 or bigger.
- Zorya’s tome — A two-handed powered tome, 85 Magic, casting every three ticks. Bought for its special attack: rapid hits with more accuracy and damage.
- Ascension crossbows — Dual-wield crossbows, 80 Ranged, firing ascension bolts. Jagex’s words: a raid-tier upgrade to the toxic blowpipe.
- Rondache — A shield, 80 Defence, that knocks 2 off every hit of melee, ranged or magic and stores it as charges for a shield bash.
- Horn of Bran — Unlocks Zeal, Piety with another 5% Attack and Strength. Tradeable, and not read like a scroll: you take it to the Record Keeper.
The rest of the collection log
- Orion — The pet. Its drop rate, like everything else’s, isn’t out.
- Elemental fragments — Wind, water, earth and fire: each adds 2 to the base max hit of its spells for good. Untradeable, with some duplicate protection.
- Archivist’s folio — An untradeable teleport to the lobby, charged with ascension shards.
- Ascension shards — Stackable and tradeable. Fletched into ascension bolts, and the charges for the Obligator and the folio.
- Living record — A cosmetic cape in five tiers, at 100, 500, 1,000, 1,500 and 2,000 completions.

Questions
What are the Fractured Archive drop rates?
Not published yet. Every rarity on the wiki’s chest page is blank, and Jagex’s launch post says it isn’t going into weightings or unique chances. Mod Arcane’s answer was “drop rates will be coming week 2”. Until then, any rate you see is somebody’s guess. The calculator goes up here when they are out.
What uniques does the Fractured Archive drop?
Five, from the unique chest: the Obligator, Zorya’s tome, the Ascension crossbows, the Rondache and the Horn of Bran. The rest of the 17-item collection log is the pet Orion, four elemental fragments, the Archivist’s folio, ascension shards and the Living record cape.
What is the Fractured Archive megarare?
The Obligator, a two-handed crush weapon that needs 85 Attack. It rolls its damage up to four times, depending on how weak the target is to crush, and keeps the best roll.
Can you solo the Fractured Archive?
No. It scales from 2 to 8 players, and Jagex has said it won’t be scaled down to solo. It recommends teams of 3 to 5; duos are tough but manageable.
What do you need to start the Fractured Archive?
While Guthix Sleeps. Finish it and a messenger finds you with a note, which starts the raid’s miniquest. The entrance is on a cliff face near the Guthixian Temple, where Lucien showed his hand.
Does the Fractured Archive have a hard mode?
No. It is the only raid without one, and there is no entry mode either. A practice mode, which lets you refight any boss or phase you have already met, comes after launch.
