Yama gear setup
What to wear into Yama and which switches to bring, worked out from your own bank and levels. Import your gear from Bank Memory or Inventory Setups, pick a switch budget, and see the best setup for every number of switches and which weapon to use on every fight.
The fights
Phases 1 and 2 share 1,667 of his 2,500 hitpoints. The Judge is hit alternating magic and melee, and always for your max: neither is scored.
| Fight | Hitpoints |
|---|---|
| Yama (Normal) | 2,500 |
| Judge of Yama | 400 |
| Yama (Phase 3) | 2,500 |
Team roles
- Melee — Melee on Yama, with a purging staff to swap to for the void flares and the Judge.
- Full mage — Magic on Yama. A melee switch still helps at the Judge.
How it decides
Every fight is scored with the same damage maths as the gear progression calculator, fight rules included. A kit is measured by the whole route’s kill time — each fight’s hitpoints over your damage, times how many you kill — so a long fight counts for more than a short one. The first weapon is worn; each extra weapon, extra kind of ammunition and armour piece is one switch.
